Inverter for Test Benches

SECOM has developed, over the years various conversion systems for test benches and equipment for test room systems to satisfy customer needs.

Test benches converter use the electric motor controlled by an Inverter as a brake; the mechanical energy is transformed into electrical energy which is returned to the grid. Other applications of SECOM drives within the test bench systems are the use of power supplies for changing the frequency and voltage, or the use of Inverters for changing the speed of the motor under test. This type of application finds space in the industrial sector (tests on rotating machines), in the automotive sector (equipment for charging and discharging batteries and supercapacitors) and in the railway sector (engine test benches).
